Transfer of ownership of the insured thing to a particular successor. Its effect. - Disposal by the former owner of the insured vehicle. Its effect. That owner is regarded as a third party to the insurance contract. The continuation of that owner's joint and several liability with the new owner until the date of transfer of the license. Its condition. That the injured party be someone other than that owner. The right of that owner's heirs, in the event of death as a result of an accident involving it, to claim compensation from the insurer.
