Attachment of the debtor’s property held by a third party. Condition for its validity. Within the eight days following service of the attachment on the garnishee, the attaching creditor must bring an action against the attachment debtor before the competent court to establish the right and the validity of the attachment, in cases where the attachment is by order of the judge; otherwise, the attachment is deemed never to have occurred.

حجز ما للمدين لدى الغير. شرط صحته. رفع الحاجز خلال الثمانية أيام التالية لإعلان الحجز إلى المحجوز لديه الدعوى بثبوت الحق وصحة الحجز على المحجوز عليه أمام المحكمة المختصة في الأحوال التي يكون فيها الحجز بأمر القاضي وإلا اعتبر الحجز كأن لم يكن.Original Arabic judgment citations
