English translation of the principle

Connectedness between two actions. Its condition. The adjudication of one must be capable of affecting the adjudication of the other such that their separate determination would lead to contradictory judgments. - An action to validate conservatory attachment procedures and an action for a declaration of bankruptcy. Their basis and subject matter are the same: the debtors' failure to pay their debts. Joining them for connectedness and for a single judgment to be rendered therein. Effect. The ruling in the bankruptcy declaration action treating it as if it had not been brought extends to the second action.
