English translation of the principle

Challenging a judgment by an original nullity action. The general rule is that it is impermissible. The reason. The legislature has exhaustively specified the methods of challenging judgments and prescribed specific time limits and particular procedures for them. The exception. If a challenge is impermissible or has become foreclosed, there is no means of setting aside the judgment except by an original nullity action.
