The principal's exemption of the agent from performing his obligation to render an account of his agency activities. A legal act in which the principal expresses his intention, even implicitly. It applies throughout the agency's duration and after its termination. - The principal's illness, even if severe. Does not constitute a legal ground for termination of the agency. The effect of the exemption from the agent's rendering an account of the agency activities continues under the presumption of continuity of the existing state. Incidental, temporary loss of capacity by either party to the contract. Does not terminate the agency. What matters is permanent loss whereby legal positions become settled.
