English translation of the principle

Signature by an admitted lawyer on the statement of claim in an action exceeding five thousand dinars in value, the petition of challenge, and the petition for reconsideration, except those filed by the Government. A mandatory and essential procedure. Contravention thereof. Its effect. Nullity. - The lawyer's signature on the pleading in a particular form clearly revealing his name. Not required by the legislature. Reason therefor: the basic rule concerning a signature is the presumption that it was made by the person to whom it is attributed until the contrary is proved. Basis thereof.
