English translation of the principle
The Kuwait Investment Authority and the debtor whose bankruptcy is sought. They may submit proposals for a composition to avert bankruptcy to the court hearing the bankruptcy petition. The court may reject or approve it. The condition for this. That it is satisfied as to the suitability of its terms and the approval of one quarter of the creditors holding half of the debts. A judgment’s contravention of this. Renders it defective and requires its cassation.

الهيئة العامة للاستثمار والمدين المطلوب شهر إفلاسه. جواز عرضهما علي المحكمة المنظور أمامها طلب شهر الإفلاس مقترحات بشأن الصلُح الواقي منه. للمحكمة أن ترفضه أو أن توافق عليه. شرط ذلك. أن يثبت لها ملائمة شروطه وموافقة ربع الدائنين الحائزين علي نصف الديون. مخالفة الحكم ذلك. يعيبه وُيوجب تمييزه.Original Arabic judgment citations
