English translation of the principle

The binding force of a judgment. Established for what the court decided expressly or implicitly, whether in the operative part or the reasons connected to it. What the court did not actually examine. Cannot be the subject of a judgment acquiring the force of res judicata, and the court does not exhaust its jurisdiction to decide it. - A judgment that did not conclusively decide the issue of the appellant’s entitlement to overtime pay. Does not exhaust the court’s jurisdiction to examine it. Its addressing this issue anew and deciding it. Does not vitiate it.
