Article 126 of Civil Code

1 - If the office of the testamentary guardian becomes vacant, the supervisor must attend to the minor’s property until the court appoints another guardian for him. 2 - In performing the duty of attending to the minor’s property during the absence of a testamentary guardian, the supervisor may undertake, on the minor’s behalf, dispositions whose postponement would cause manifest harm to him.
