1 - If an expression of intent differs from the true intention of its maker, the intention shall prevail. - Nevertheless, the person to whom the expression of intent is addressed may rely upon it, despite its inconsistency with the true intention of its maker, if he proves that he relied upon it believing it to conform to the true intent, without the circumstances being such as to raise doubt as to that conformity.
