English translation
If all or part of the price is immediately payable, the seller may retain the thing sold until he receives what is due to him, even if the buyer provides a pledge or a surety, unless the seller grants the buyer a deferment after the sale.

إذا كان الثمن كله أو بعضه مستحق الأداء في الحال, فللبائع أن يحبس المبيع حتى
يستوفي ما هو مستحق له ولو قدم المشتري رهنا أو كفالة, هذا ما لم يمنح البائع
