English translation
1 - The agent may at any time resign his agency, even if there is an agreement to the contrary. Resignation is effected by notification to the principal, and the agent shall compensate the principal for damage suffered as a result of resignation at an inappropriate time and without reasonable excuse. 2 - However, the agent may not resign the agency when a third party has an interest in it unless serious reasons justify doing so, provided that he notifies the third party of the resignation and allows him sufficient time to take whatever measures he considers appropriate to safeguard his interests.

١ - للوكيل في أي وقت أن يتنحى عن وكالته, ولو وجد اتفاق يخالف ذلك, ويتم
التنحي بإعلانه للموكل, ويكون الوكيل ملز ما بتعويض الموكل عن الضرر الذي
لحقه من جراء التنحي في وقت غير مناسب وبغير عذر معقول.
٢ - على أنه لا يجوز للوكيل أن يتنحى عن الوكالة متى كان لأحد من الغير مصلحة
فيها إلا إذا وجدت أسباب جدية تبرر ذلك, على أن يخطـر الغير بهذا التنحي,
ويمهله وقتا كافيا ليتخذ ما يراه مناسبا لرعاية مصالحه.Ask about this article
