Article 717 of Civil Code

1 - The principal may at any time dismiss his agent or restrict his agency, even if there is an agreement to the contrary. 2 - However, if the agent or a third party has an interest in the agency, the principal may not terminate or restrict it without the consent of the person having that interest. 3 - In all cases, the principal must compensate the agent for any harm he suffers as a result of his dismissal at an inappropriate time or without reasonable justification.
