Article 775 of Civil Code

1 - If insurance is contracted without authority to represent the insured, the contract shall extend to him if he ratifies it, even after the occurrence of the insured risk. 2 - If the risk occurs and the insured does not ratify the contract within three years of the occurrence of the risk, the premiums paid shall become the insurer's exclusive entitlement.
