Article 180 of Constitution of the State of Kuwait

Everything prescribed by the laws, regulations, decrees, orders and decisions in force upon the entry into force of this Constitution shall remain effective unless amended or repealed in accordance with the system prescribed by this Constitution, and provided that it does not conflict with any of its provisions. Article 181 (1) No provision of this Constitution may be suspended except during the operation of martial law, within the limits specified by law. Under no circumstances may the convening of the National Assembly be suspended during that time, or the immunity of its members be infringed.
