Article 11 of Law of Evidence

If the original official document does not exist, copies shall have evidentiary force within the following limits: a- The original official copy, whether executory or non-executory, shall have the evidentiary force of the original whenever its outward appearance leaves no room for doubt as to its conformity with the original. b- Official copies taken from original copies shall have the same evidentiary force. However, in this case, any interested person may request that they be checked against the original copies from which they were taken. c- As for official copies taken from copies taken from original copies, they shall be taken into account solely for guidance.
