English translation
Official instruments are those in which a public official or a person entrusted with a public service records what has been performed by him or what he has received from the persons concerned, in accordance with the legally prescribed formalities and within the limits of his authority and competence. If these instruments do not acquire official status, they shall have only the value of private instruments, provided that the persons concerned have signed them with their signatures, seals or fingerprints.

الاوراق الرسمية هي التي يثبت فيها موظف عام او شخص مكلف بخدمة عامة،
ماتم على يديه او ما تلقاه من ذوي الشأن وذلك طبقا للأوضاع القانونية وفي
حدود سلطته واختصاصه. فاذا لم تكسب هذه الاوراق صفة رسمية فلا يكون لها
الا قيمة الأوراق العرفية متى كان ذوو الشأن قد وقعوها بإمضاءاتهم او بأختامهم او
