Article 213 مكرر 2 of Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials

In the case stipulated in item 5 of Article 213 bis of this Law, the right to petition for reconsideration shall belong exclusively to the Public Prosecutor, whether of his own motion, upon a request from the General Department of Investigations or upon a request from the persons concerned. If he considers it warranted, he shall refer it, together with the investigations he considered necessary to conduct, to the Court of Cassation or the Court of Appeal sitting as a court of cassation. 1( Articles 213 bis from 1 to 11 were added by Law No. 11 of 2020 The petition must specify the fact or document upon which it is based.
