Article 248 of Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials

Judicial rehabilitation shall be submitted to the Chief of Police and Public Security, containing the particulars required in appeal petitions, with the addition of particulars concerning the places in which he resided during the period prescribed for rehabilitation. The Chief of Police and Public Security shall assign an investigator to conduct an investigation to ascertain the convicted person's good conduct and uprightness during this period, and shall then refer the application to the President of the High Court of Appeal with a report stating his opinion.
