English translation
The convicted person shall be rehabilitated automatically by operation of law once the statutory period has elapsed after the penalty has been fully served, pardoned, or extinguished by limitation. The period required for statutory rehabilitation is ten years if the penalty exceeds imprisonment for three years and a fine of 225 dinars, and five years if the penalty does not exceed that.

يرد اعتبار المحكوم عليه حتما بحكم القانون متى مضت المدة القانونية بعد تمام
تنفيذ العقوبة أو صدور عفو عنها أو سقوطها بالتقادم.
والمدة اللازمة لرد الاعتبار القانوني هي عشر سنوات إذا كانت العقوبة تزيد على
الحبس لمدة ثلاث سنوات والغرامة بمبلغ ٢٢٥ دينار، وخمس سنوات إذا كانت
