English translation
A marriage contract may validly be concluded by appointing another person as agent for offer and acceptance. Agency in marriage is therefore permissible on one side or both sides, by appointment by the husband, the wife, or both. The agent must not exceed what the principal has specified regarding the dower and other particulars.

يصح أن يتم عقد الزواج بتوكيل الغير في الإيجاب والقبول، فيجوز التوكيل في
الزواج من طرف واحد أو من الطرفين بتوكيل الزوج أو الزوجة أو كليهما، ويجب
