English translation
The consideration for release must satisfy the following conditions: a It must be something that may lawfully be owned under Sharia. If she ransoms herself with something that may not be owned, such as wine, pigs, and similar prohibited things, the khulʿ shall be void. 2 Its quantity and description must be known in a manner that removes uncertainty, even generally. If its quantity and description are indeterminate, as where she offers something or money without specifying what it is, it shall not be valid. 3 What she offers as consideration for release must be of her own choice. It shall not be valid if she is coerced into it by the husband or another person, and in this case the husband shall not acquire ownership of it.

يشترط في الفدية :
ا أن تكون مما يملك شرعا، فلو فدت نفسها بما لا يملك كالخمر والخنزير وأمثالهما
المحرمة بطل الخلع .
٢ أن تكون معلومة المقدار والصفة بما يرفع الجهالة ولو إجمالا، فلو كانت مبهمة
المقدار والصفة كما لو بذلت شيئا ، أو نقود من دون بيان ما هي لم تصح .
٣ أن يكون ما تبذله من الفدية باختيارها ، فلا تصح مع إكراههـا عليهـا مـن قبـل
الزوج أو شخص غيره، وفي هذه الحال لا يملكه الزوج.Ask about this article
