English translation
Agency is permissible in the provision of consideration and in khulʿ. The wife’s agent shall undertake the provision of consideration, and the husband’s agent shall pronounce the khulʿ formula. It is also permissible for one of them to be a principal and the other an agent, by her appointing a person to provide the consideration and the husband himself divorcing her by khulʿ, or conversely by his appointing a person to carry out she the khulʿ after she herself provides the redemption payment.

يجوز التوكيل في البذل والخلع، فيتولى وكيل الزوجة البذل، ووكيل الزوج إنشاء
صيغة الخلع، كما يجوز أن يكون أحدهما أصيلا والآخر وكيلا، وذلك بأن توكل
شخصا بالبذل ويخلعها الزوج بنفسه، أو بالعكس بأن يوكل هـو شـخصا بإجـراء هي
