If the reason for her dislike of him is his oppression, harm and ill-treatment of her in order to induce her to surrender her dowry so that he will divorce her, the khulʿ is not valid, he is forbidden to take what she has given him, and the divorce does not occur.

إذا كان سبب كراهيتها له ظلمه وإيذاؤه وإساءة معاملته لها ليحملها على بذل مهرها
