English translation
The dower must be specified generally as to its nature, description, amount or number in a manner that removes uncertainty overall. If it is indeterminate, such as a thing, a portion or a share, the dower shall be invalid, and upon consummation the wife shall be entitled against him to the dower of women comparable to her.

لا بد أن يكون المهر معيناً بالجملة من حيث حقيقته أو صفته أو مقداره أو عدده بما
يرفع الجهالة إجمالاً، فلو كان مبهماً كشيء أو نصيب أو حصـة بطل المهر، واستحقت
