Article 469 of Jaafari Personal Status Law

In all cases where the close heirs are confined to siblings, whether full siblings, paternal half-siblings, maternal half-siblings, or some full siblings, some paternal half-siblings and some maternal half-siblings, if the deceased had a husband, he shall receive one-half, and if the deceased had a wife, she shall receive one-quarter. A sole maternal half-brother shall receive one-sixth, and, if more than one, they shall receive one-third. The remainder shall go to the full siblings or paternal half-siblings if they are males or males and females.
