Article 156 of Personal Status Law

The waiting period begins: a- In a valid marriage, from the date of divorce or the husband’s death. Home Page Law Index 1152 Personal Status Law Law No. 51 of 1984 concerning Personal Status b- In an irregular marriage, from the date of abandonment or the man’s death. c- In intercourse under a mistaken belief of lawfulness, from the date of the last intercourse. d- In judicial separation, from the date of the final judgment thereof.
