English translation
A father of sufficient means, however far ascending, must maintain his poor child who is incapable of earning, however far descending, until the latter becomes self-sufficient.

يجب على الاب الموسر وان علا نفقة ولده الفقير ، العاجز عن الكسب وان نزل ،
