Article 302 of Personal Status Law

A- The mother has a prescribed share of one sixth where there is a child, or a son's child however remote in descent, or two or more brothers and sisters. B- She has one third in circumstances other than these, except that if she is together with one of the spouses and the father only, she has one third of what remains after the prescribed share of one of the spouses. C- The established grandmother is the mother of either parent, or of the agnatic grandfather, however high in ascent. She, or the grandmothers, shall have one sixth, divided equally among them, without distinction between one related through one line and one related through two lines.
