Article 8 of Audiovisual Media Law

The broadcasting licence shall include the name of the channel through which the licensee broadcasts—visual or audio—the purpose of its establishment, and whether it is general or specialized in particular fields, with an obligation not to depart from that purpose. The licence shall also include, in particular, the following terms and conditions: 1 - Respect for the law, public order and public morals. 2 - Compliance with decisions issued by the Ministry concerning the regulation of broadcasting. - The financial fines imposed by the Ministry if the licensee breaches the licensing conditions contained therein or specified in this Law and its implementing regulations. 4 - The obligation to display the channel's logo during visual broadcasting and to state the station's name and the frequency used during audio broadcasting hours. h - The licensee's obligation to provide the information and data connected with broadcasting and rebroadcasting activities that the Ministry requests from the licensee, and to enable the Ministry's competent employees to Law Index 513 Home Page Audiovisual Media Law Law No. 61 of 2007 concerning Audiovisual Media verify the accuracy of such information and data and to provide all necessary facilities in this regard for inspecting the channel's records and papers and examining its apparatus and equipment. 6- The licensee's obligation to comply with the regulations issued by a decision of the Minister concerning the establishment and construction of towers and the installation of equipment, apparatus and stations required for broadcasting and rebroadcasting activities. 7- The licensee's obligation to comply with the technical specifications approved by the Ministry for broadcasting and rebroadcasting apparatus. 8- Maintaining a register containing all programmes broadcast by the licensee during twelve consecutive months, including the date and time at which those programmes were broadcast. 9- The obligation to record the entire broadcasting period, retain it for three months from the date of broadcast, and allow the Ministry's competent employee to inspect the recordings.
