Article 263 of Bankruptcy Law

If the debtor in respect of whom an application to open proceedings is submitted under the provisions of this Law is classified Law Index 1448 Home Page as a small or medium enterprise, pursuant to the aforementioned Law No. 98 of 2013, on the date the application is submitted, the Bankruptcy Judge may, on his own initiative or upon the application of the debtor or a creditor, order that the time limits provided for in this Law be reduced by half. Any non-whole number in these time limits shall be rounded up to the nearest greater whole number. The Bankruptcy Judge may also dispense with the formation of creditors’ committees or voting therein, issue his decision on matters that the Law requires to be submitted to creditors’ committees without the need for their approval, or exempt them from any other procedures provided for in this Law.
