Article 197 of Commercial Code

1 - A transport commission agency is a contract under which the agent undertakes to contract in his own name or in the name of his principal with a carrier for the carriage of a thing or a person to a specified destination, and, where necessary, to perform the operations connected with that carriage, in return for a commission received from the principal. 2 - If the commission agent undertakes carriage using his own means, the provisions of the contract of carriage shall apply to him unless otherwise agreed.
