English translation
A person who sends one of the parts of a bill of exchange for acceptance shall indicate on the other parts the name of the person in whose possession that part is held. The latter shall deliver it to the lawful holder of any other part. If he refuses to deliver it, the holder shall have no right of recourse unless he establishes by protest: 1 - That the part sent for acceptance was not delivered to him despite his request for it. - That acceptance or payment was not effected under another part.

على من يرسل إحدى نسخ الكمبيالة لقبولها أن يبين على النسخ الأخرى اســم مـن
تكون هذه النسخة في حيازته وعلى هذا الاخير أن يسلمها للحامل الشرعي لأية نسخة
اخرى، فإذا رفض تسليمها لم يكن للحامل حق الرجوع إلا إذا اثبت ببر وتستو :
1 - أن النسخة المرسلة للقبول لم تسلم له رغم طلبه لها .
