Article 481 of Commercial Code

Accordingly, claims may be brought against them individually or collectively without observing any order. 2 - This right also belongs to every signatory to a bill of exchange who has paid its value, against those liable towards him. - Actions brought against one of the obligors do not preclude claims against the others, even if their obligation is subsequent to that of the person against whom the action was initially brought.
