Article 14 of Real Estate Registration Law

With respect to proving the root of ownership or the real right in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Article, no instruments shall be accepted except the following: 1 - Instruments previously registered. 2 - Instruments whose date was established or which were authenticated before the notary public in Kuwait or the Sharia courts before 26 / 4 / 1960. 3 - Instruments issued or authenticated by the Sharia courts and containing a disposition taking effect after death before 26 / 4 / 1959. For establishing the date, within the meaning of this Article, nothing other than what is specified herein shall be accepted.
