English translation
An agency expressed in general terms containing no specification even of the type of legal act for which the agency is granted confers on the agent authority only in acts of administration. A special agency must exist for every act that is not an act of administration, particularly sale, mortgage, gratuitous dispositions, settlement, and acknowledgment. A special agency gives the agent capacity only to undertake the matters specified therein and such necessary ancillary matters as those matters entail, according to the nature of each disposition and prevailing custom.
