Article 250 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

If the acts specified in the preceding Article are committed against an instrument establishing a right or a register which the law requires to be prepared to establish certain particulars, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding two hundred and twenty-five dinars, or either of these two penalties. However, if these acts are committed against a public utility or a source of public wealth, such that they result in disrupting the public utility, reducing its benefit or destroying the source of public wealth wholly or partly, the penalty shall be life imprisonment.
