English translation
Anyone who intentionally sinks a vessel or any means of maritime transport, or damages it in any manner whatsoever, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years, to which a fine not exceeding five hundred and twenty-five dinars may be added. If this results in serious injury to a person, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, to which a fine not exceeding seven hundred and fifty dinars may be added. The penalty shall be life imprisonment, to which a fine not exceeding one thousand one hundred and twenty-five dinars may be added, if this results in the death of a human being.

كل من أغرق عمدا سفينة أو أية وسيلة من وسائل النقل البحري، أو أتلفها على
أي نحو كان، يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز سبع سنوات ويجوز أن تضاف اليها
غرامة لا تجاوز خمسمائة وخمسة وعشرين دينارا. فاذا ترتب على ذلك إلحاق أذى بليغ
بشخص، كانت العقوبة الحبس مدة لا تزيد على عشر سنوات، ويجوز أن تضاف
اليها غرامة لا تجاوز سبعمائة وخمسين دينارا وتكون العقوبة الحبس المؤبد، ويجوز
أن تضاف اليه غرامة لا تجاوز ألف ومائة وخمسة وعشرين دينارا، إذا ترتب على
