English translation
Anyone who counterfeits coins by making a coin resembling genuine coins, falsifies them by reducing their metallic value using a file, shears, dissolving acid or otherwise, or coats them with a coating making them resemble a coin of greater value, intending that they be used in circulation as genuine coins, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, to which a fine not exceeding seven hundred and fifty dinars may be added. A coin means any metal issued by the Government of Kuwait or a foreign government, given a particular shape by it and put into circulation by it as money.

كل من قلد المسكوكات بأن صنع مسكوكا يشبه المسكوكات الصحيحة، أو زورهـا
بأن أنقص قيمتها المعدنية بوساطة مبرد أو مقراض أو ماء الحل أو غير ذلك، أو
طلاها بطلاء يجعلها شبيهة بمسكوك أكبر منها قيمة ، وهو قاصد أن تستعمل في
التداول باعتبارها مسكوكات صحيحة ، يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز عشر سنوات
ويجوز أن تضاف إليها غرامة لا تجاوز سبعمائة وخمسين دينارا.
ويعد مسكوكا كل معدن أصدرته حكومة الكويت أو حكومة أجنبية وأعطته شكلا
