Article 189 of Companies Law

The amounts due for the representation of public institutions, public authorities, and wholly state-owned companies on the board of directors of the company in which they hold shares shall accrue to them. The chairman of the company’s board of directors shall pay those amounts directly to the aforementioned entities within one week from their due date. Those entities may determine the remuneration and salaries paid to their representatives on the boards of directors of that company.
