English translation
Lawyers alone shall have the right to appear on behalf of parties before the courts. However, litigants may delegate their spouses, relatives by marriage or persons related to them up to the fourth degree to plead on their behalf before them. Lawyers admitted in Arab countries may plead before the courts in a particular case with special permission from the Minister of Justice, jointly with a lawyer entered Law Index 745 Home Page Legal Profession Law Law No. 42 of 1964 concerning the Regulation of the Legal Profession on the roll, and subject to reciprocity.

للمحامين دون غيرهم حق الحضور عن الخصوم أمام المحاكم إنما يجوز للمتقاضين
أن ينيبوا عنهم في المرافعة أمامها أزواجهم أو أصهارهم أو أشخاصا من ذوي
قرباهم لغاية الدرجة الرابعة. ويجوز للمحامين المقررين في البلاد العربية المرافعة
أمام المحاكم في قضية معينة بإذن خاص من وزير العدل بالاشتراك مع محام مقيد
