Article 132 of Code of Civil Procedure

Notice of the challenge shall be served on the opposing party personally, at his original domicile, at his workplace, or at his elected domicile specified in the document serving notice of the judgment. If the respondent is the plaintiff or the appellant and has not stated his original domicile or workplace in the originating statement of claim or the statement of appeal, and this information is not apparent from other papers in the action, notice of the challenge may be served on him at the last elected domicile he specified in the originating statement of claim, the statement of appeal, or the other papers in the action. If the statement and the other papers also contain no elected domicile, service shall be effected pursuant to the provisions of the first paragraph of Article (16)—at the registry of the court before which the challenge is brought.
