Article 3 of Traffic Law

Types of vehicles: First - The motor car and its types are as follows: 1) Private car: One intended for personal use solely for transporting passengers. (2) Taxi: One intended for transporting passengers for an inclusive fare for the journey. It may, in accordance with rules issued by a decision of the Minister of Interior, be authorized to transport passengers for a fare per passenger. (3) Passenger transport vehicle: One intended for transporting no fewer than 8 passengers, and its types are: a- Public passenger transport vehicle (public bus): One intended for transporting passengers for a specified fare per passenger, operating regularly within specified limits. b - Private passenger transport vehicle (private bus): One intended for transporting school students or employees, workers and their families within a specified area. c - Tourist vehicle (tourist bus): One intended for tourism and excursions. 4) Combined transport vehicle (private): One intended for transporting persons and things together. 5) Public transport vehicle for things and animals (truck): One intended for transporting animals and things for payment, including those equipped with a refrigerated box. 6) Private transport vehicle: One intended for transporting animals and things, whose use is restricted to personal use. (7) Special-purpose vehicle: One permanently intended for special equipment and not used for purposes other than those for which it was designed, such as firefighting vehicles, ambulances, vehicles for transporting the dead, cinematographic and television filming, repair workshops, criminal investigation vehicles and others. ) Medium public transport vehicle for things and animals (half-lorry): One intended for transporting animals and things for payment, including those equipped with a refrigerated box. (9) Light public transport vehicle for things and animals (pickup): One intended for transporting animals and things for payment, including those equipped with a refrigerated box. (10) Vehicle transport and towing vehicles: Those intended for transporting and towing vehicles, including vehicles that carry vehicles and including cranes. Second: The tractor: A motor vehicle whose design does not permit the transport of persons or animals and whose use is restricted to towing trailers, machinery and other things. Third: The industrial, construction and agricultural vehicle: One intended for construction works, agricultural work and lifting machinery. A box may be attached to it, and it includes the special carriage for persons with infirmities. Its use is restricted to personal use. Fifth: The ordinary bicycle: It is defined in the preceding Article. Sixth: The trailer and semi-trailer: They are defined in the preceding Article. The Minister of Interior may attach to the aforementioned types, or add thereto, new types of vehicles whose specifications and registration conditions he shall determine.
