Article 45 of Traffic Law

The agencies of the Ministry of Interior shall supervise the orderly flow of traffic and the application of the provisions of this Law and the implementing regulations and decisions, and the Minister of Interior shall determine and the powers of police officers assigned to regulate traffic in recording violations, investigating and disposing of them, and prosecuting before the Traffic Court. The Minister of Interior shall also determine the powers of members of the police force assigned to investigate minor traffic accidents that do not result in injuries to persons, as well as the procedures specific to such accidents.
