Article 20 of Electronic Transactions Law

The person relying on a protected electronic signature shall bear the burden of producing the electronic certification certificate demonstrating its validity in accordance with the nature of the restrictions and conditions imposed on the certificate, while taking the necessary steps to verify the validity of the signature and the certificate and its continuing validity, and taking into account any prior agreement or dealing between the party invoking this certificate and the authority certifying the data it contains or to which its issuance is attributed.
