Article 22 of Electronic Transactions Law

The aforementioned competent authority shall regulate the provision of electronic certification services and electronic signature services. This authority shall, in particular, undertake the following: 1 - Issuing and renewing the licences necessary to carry on electronic certification and electronic signature service activities, and monitoring and supervising the activities of certification service providers, in accordance with the provisions of the Law, its Executive Regulations and the regulations governing this authority. 2- Establishing electronic certification and electronic signature standards so as to regulate their technical specifications. 5 - Receiving complaints relating to electronic certification and electronic signature activities and taking the necessary measures in their regard.
