Article 25 of Child Rights Law

Without prejudice to the provisions of the laws concerning approval of imported foodstuffs and the decisions implementing them, an identification label must be affixed to every package of food subject to the provisions of this Law, written in a clear, prominent and easily readable manner. In particular, the label must include the following particulars: 1 - The producer's name and address. 2 - A note indicating the importance of breastfeeding and its superiority over any other food product. 3 - A statement that the product must not be used except in cases of urgent necessity and upon the advice of a physician or technician working in infant nutrition, concerning the need to use it and the hygienic method of using it. 4 - The ingredients entering into the composition of the food product and the proportion of each ingredient. e - The required storage conditions 6 - The run and batch number, the production date and the expiry date for use. In all cases, no picture of a child or mother or any text suggesting the ideal nature of using infant foods may be placed on the package or identification label.
