Article 78 of Child Rights Law

Child protection centers shall, in examining the seriousness of the complaint and conducting the examination, remove its causes, by interviewing the child, the person responsible for the child's care, the child's relatives, or others 370 Home Page Law Index Child Rights Law Law No. 21 of 2015 concerning Child Rights to question them concerning the complaint. They shall have the right to go to the child's place of residence and follow up periodically, or take the child into protective custody or refer the child to the competent authorities if the child's condition so requires. If the child is handed over to the guardian or the person responsible for the child's care, that person shall undertake not to expose the child to danger. If harm to the child recurs, the center is unable to resolve the complaint, or the incident constitutes a crime, the center shall submit a report to the Juvenile Prosecution or a recommendation to the court to take the necessary action, all while maintaining the confidentiality of the information and name of the reporting person. Anyone who learns that a child is exposed to danger shall provide the child with such urgent assistance as is within that person's capacity and is sufficient to avert or remove the danger from the child.
