1 - The term of protection of an author's economic rights in his work shall be his lifetime and fifty years after his death, calculated from the first of January of the year following the death. 2 - The term of protection of the economic rights of authors of joint works shall be all their lifetimes and fifty years from the date of death of the last surviving author, calculated from the first of January of the year following the death of the last surviving author. - The term of protection of works whose author is a legal person shall be fifty years from the first of January of the year following the year in which the work was first lawfully published. - If the work consists of several parts or volumes that are published separately or at intervals, each part or volume shall be considered an independent work for the purpose of calculating the term of protection. h - The term of protection of collective works and audiovisual works shall be fifty years from the first lawful publication of the work, calculated from the first of January of the following year in which the said publication occurred. In the event of non-publication, the fifty-year term shall run from the first of January of the year following the year in which the work was completed. 6 - The term of protection of works published without mentioning the author's name or under an author's pseudonym shall be fifty years from the first of January of the following year in which the first lawful publication of the work occurred. However, if the author's identity is revealed during the term of protection, the term of protection shall be calculated in accordance with clauses 1 and 2 of this Article. - The term of protection of works published after their author's death shall be fifty years from the first of January of the year following the year in which they were published. - The term of protection for works of applied art and photography shall be fifty years from the date of the first lawful publication of the work, regardless of republication.

۱- مدة حماية حقوق المؤلف المالية على مصنفه مدى حياته ، ولمدة خمسين سنة بعد
وفاته، تحسب اعتباراً من الأول من شهر يناير من السنة التي تلي الوفاة.
٢ - مدة حماية الحقوق المالية لمؤلفي المصنفات المشتركة مدى حياتهم جميعاً ولمدة
خمسين سنة من تاريخ وفاة آخر من بقي حياً منهم، تحسب اعتباراً من الأول من
شهر يناير من السنة التي تلي وفاة آخر من بقي منهم على قيد الحياة.
- مدة حماية المصنفات التي يكون المؤلف لها شخصاً اعتبارياً خمسين سنة اعتباراً
من الأول من شهر يناير من السنة التي تلي السنة التي تم فيها أول نشر مشروع
للمصنف.
- إذا كان المصنف مكوناً من عدة أجزاء أو مجلدات بحيث تنشر منفصلة أو على
فترات، فيعد كل جزء أو مجلد منها مصنفاً مستقلاً بالنسبة لحساب مدة الحماية.
ه - مدة حماية المصنفات الجماعية والمصنفات السمعية البصرية، خمسين سنة من
أول نشر مشروع للمصنف تحسب اعتباراً من الأول من شهر ينايـر مـن السنة التالية
التي حصل فيها النشر المذكور. وفي حالة عدم النشر ، تسري مدة الخمسين سنة
اعتباراً من الأول من شهر يناير للسنة التالية للسنة التي تم فيها إنجاز المصنف.
٦ - مدة حماية المصنفات المنشورة من دون ذكر اسم المؤلف أو باسم مؤلف مستعار،
خمسين سنة اعتباراً من الأول من شهر يناير من السنة التالية التي حصل فيها أول
نشر مشروع للمصنف، على أنه إذا كشف عن شخصية المؤلف خلال مدة الحماية،
تحسب مدة الحماية وفقا للبندين ١ و ٢ من هذه المادة.
- مدة حماية المصنفات المنشورة بعد موت صاحبها خمسين سنة اعتباراً من الأول
من شهر يناير من السنة التي تلي السنة التي نشرت فيها.
- مدة الحماية لأعمال الفنون التطبيقية والتصوير الفوتوغرافي هي خمسون سنة من
