English translation
The Authority shall undertake continuous monitoring and evaluation operations and prepare research and studies to preserve air quality and limit the harmful effects resulting from emissions of polluting gases. The Executive Regulations of this Law shall specify air quality standards. The Authority, in coordination and cooperation with the competent entities concerned, shall take the necessary measures when those standards are exceeded.

تتولى الهيئة القيام بعمليات الرصد والتقييم المستمر وإعداد البحوث والدراسات
للحفاظ على جودة الهواء والحد من الأثار الضارة الناتجة من إنبعاث الغازات
الملوثة وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون معايير جودة الهواء .
وعلى الهيئة بالتنسيق والتعاون مع الجهات المعنية المختصة إتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة
